This is an oil painting on a gessoed hardboard panel, sized 14"x11", and is varnished and presented in an elegant floater frame. Painted on site, the piece depicts the view of the Chicago skyline from the North end of the South Pond in Lincoln Park. The varnish deepens the colors and protects the surface, while the floater frame offers a refined, gallery-ready presentation that emphasizes the painting’s edges and handcrafted quality.
